Frequently Asked Questions
While most boswellic acids are associated with positive benefits, not all of them are beneficial. Beta-boswellic acid has been shown to be problematic and can interfere with the activity of other boswellic acids. By ensuring at least 10% or more acetyl-11-B-boswellic acid (AKBA), and screening beta-boswellic acid to less than 5%, BOS-10® is able to provide much greater benefit than most standard boswellic extracts, some of which have up to 15-25% beta-boswellic acid!
The proper product comparison is curcumin to curcumin. However, since many companies are comparing their curcumin absorption to turmeric, we provide this information as a service to our customers.
- Plain curcumin compared to turmeric delivers up to 50 times the curcumin as the same amount of turmeric.
