Frequently Asked Questions

Do foods cause acne?

Not necessarily. Although many people believe that chocolate and French fries are prime contributors to acne, there is no evidence that diet is a direct cause of acne. However, food choices can contribute to hormonal fluctuations, which - along with other physical and psychological stresses - can be responsible for occasional acne and blemishes.

If I am allergic to sulfa drugs, can I take this product?

Yes, you can take Acne Essentials. "Sulfa" and "sulfur" are not the same, even though their names sound similar. Sulfa is a type of prescription drug, and sulfur is a necessary mineral that is utilized in a wide variety of physiological functions.
